Q001　The price of dressing ?

Dressing fee is included in the package.
  • 3,000 yen (1 person)  same price for child
  • 5,500 yen (1 couple)  Couple = husband and wife, lovers
*If you need hair ornament, bag for kimono and umbrella, please pay 100 yen for each item.


Q002　Access to Warakuan

【by bus】
Approximately 10 minutes by bus to Kitsuki Bus Terminal from JR Kitsuki Station.
Bus has Via Shinmichi or Via Nakahira.

【via Sinmichi】
Please get off at Kitsuki City Hall and walk for about 1 minute on foot

【via Nakahira】
Please get off at Kitsuki Bus Terminal and 15 minutes on foot.
There is a tourist office on the side facing the Kitsuki bus terminal.
Please ask for directions to our shop there.



【by taxi】
It's takes about 10min by taxi from JR Kitsuki station to our shop.
The cost is about 1,600yen.

Q011　How long does it take to get dressed ?

Choosing a kimono … 20 mins

Dressing … 20 mins

From arrival to departure, it takes you about 1 hour～
These are estimated time. You may have to wait when it's crowded.


Q012　Do I need to bring anything ?

Please bring a camisole or underwear on the day.
( we use your underwear instead of Kimono's underwear )



Q013　Can I leave my luggage ?

You can leave your suitcase during your trip. It's free.

Please keep your belongings such as purse, camera, passport etc...


Q015　Do you have hairstyling service ?

Unfortunately, we don't provide hairstyling option.

Q016　Can I wear a kimono during pregnancy ?

We are not offering kimono experience to expectant mothers consider their conditions.

However, if you strongly wish to kimono experience, it is possible to do under your responsibility. In the instance that an expectant mother chooses to hire a kimono, our store will not be held liable for any potential outcomes. 

Expectant mothers will be asked to sign an agreement.


Q018　How can I cancel a reservation ?

Please contact us at least one day before your reservation, it won't cost any cancellation charge.


Q019　What types of payment does Warakuan accept.

We accept Cash, Visa, Master Card, China Union Pay, JCB, AMERICAN EXPRESS[AMEX] and DINERS.

Note: we accept credit card form 100 yen


Q020　What if I damaged the rental kimono ?

【Smear】
If it's the ordinary smear like food or soil stain, it doesn't cost any cleaning charge.
But if the smear is an unwashable stain (ex: oily paint) will be charged.

【Damage】
An irreparable damage (ex: cigarette burns, a damage/hole beside of the sewed parts), it will cost you 5,000 yen for compensation.

Clean the smell from perfume or others will cost 5,000 yen.

But if it's a silk Kimono, then it will cost 10,000 yen.

【Attention】
Cigarette burns is an irreparable damage which need compensation.


Q021　What if it's raining ?

If it is not a heavy rain then it's still fine to go outside.

If it's a stormy day or there's an unpredictable situation such as typhoon, then we can accept you cancel your reservation on that day.


Q022　How can I keep warm in winter ?

We have free shawls for ladies, and there will be Haori (short jacket) in gentlemen's rental set, too.

Before you come, you can wear low necklines thermal clothes (it could be better if it is low necklines in the backside), skintight leggings.
*If you wear pantyhose, then it will be unable to wear Tabi.

We suggest you can use disposable heat pad, or plus an extra option for Haori.


Q023　How about if we come as a group ?

Basically, people in group will be choosig and dressing kimono at the same time.


Q024　About a group tour

We can accept of groups of about 40 people at one time.
We are using for employee travel, planning of the same general meeting, travel tour planning, invitation of foreigners etc.

Approximately 40 people dressing time is about 1 hour.

Q025　Is there any parking ?

Please use public parking in the neighborhood.

Q026　About taking selfie

When you take selfie, it may mirror effect in photo.
In that case,  the left side will be under the right side which means "burial clothes".

Please be careful!
